Noah walked in the house with another woman yesterday. My sister. She surprised me with a New Year’s Day visit.

Quite a pleasant surprise, although Noah had gotten in a lot of trouble the last couple days because I HAD NO IDEA WHAT WAS GOING ON and I thought his behaviour was kind of jerk-ish, but it all makes sense now that I know what was up. Needless to say, all is forgiven and we’re enjoying our time with Erica.

Noah had planned to take Kaylie to a Blades game last night, but because Auntie Erica was in the house, Kaylie chose to stay home. So, Noah took Preston instead. He was SO EXCITED. And so was Preston. Their first father/son hockey game. Preston came back with some swag and was spoiled with snacks at the game. Because, of course.
As much as Noah would be okay (ish) if Preston had little interest in sports, he’s quite enjoying Preston’s love of football, and now hockey.
The first day of 2013? Pretty freakin’ awesome.
