A few Liliana-isms:
Noah worked late the other day, and so I let the kids eat their dinner (chicken quesadillas) on a picnic blanket in the living room while they watched Ice Age 2.
Liliana: “Mama, I can’t eat and watch TV at the same time.”
Me: “Okay, then I guess you should come and sit up at the table.”
Liliana: “Oh, um, never mind! I can do it!”
“Is Vancouver a country?”
“Cheese is healthy because it’s filled with lots of prootein.”
*asks for dinner, mom starts dinner* “Mama! Keep it down! I can’t hear my show!”
To Noah, as he was saying goodbye to her before leaving for a week for work: “But doesn’t your work people know that you have a daughter that loves you more than the world and will miss you very much?”
