they say that time
heals all wounds
but it doesn’t
time fails
they lie
what time does
is cut deeper
over old wounds
bleeding, broken
never fixed
some things can
not be healed
restoration
does not
exist
heal the wound
but keep the scar
is all I ask
but perhaps
it’s too much
the thing that I
can only hope
is that
one day
it won’t
